Sited east of Camelback Mountain, the Invergordon Residence views toward the formation. Visitors are invited to discover a modern hacienda of crisp pavilions, calm courtyards, and shadowy lattices. The east arrival garden is formed by the garage, great room, and primary suite, completed by a detached guest retreat.
Upon entry, the great room frames the summit, across the west court pool. This social ‘heart’ connects to the dining terrace, pool, barbeque, and rec room. The kitchen/ breakfast areas are crafted as a large ‘cabinet’ complemented by a terra cotta fireplace. A glass link joins the living pavilion to the primary suite, with a bathing garden leading to the detached fitness room. The separate children’s wing and office/garage volumes compose the north edge of the house, with a passage culminating at ‘the nest’ window seat.
Favoring simplicity and scale over stylistic cues, the house embraces indoor/outdoor environments—the timeless aspects of the hacienda.
