Erin joined WORKSBUREAU in 2018 and has contributed in both an Architecture and Interior Design capacity on a variety of projects within the firm’s wide ranging portfolio. As such, she enjoys working in both the macro and micro scales throughout the design process. Prior to joining WORKSBUREAU, the majority of her professional design experience has been in the Washington D.C. area; it includes a variety of project types ranging from government to hospitality and bridges both the Architecture and Interior Design disciplines.
Outside of a professional setting, she also enjoyed teaching a series of design studios at her alma mater following graduate school. She received her undergraduate degree from the University of Arizona and went on to complete her MArch from Catholic University in Washington, D.C. While there, her thesis research focused on the concept of “placelessness” as it relates to suburban sprawl. She has a continued interest in placemaking as well as evidence based design related to the neurological, psychological, and emotional effects of the built environment on vulnerable populations. She is currently pursuing licensure.
