Freight is an original urban and architectural vision for downtown Tempe, creatively designed to invigorate the challenging 2500-foot strip of undeveloped real estate between the railroad tracks and Farmer Avenue, east of downtown. The proposal focuses on quality, contextual scale, and appropriate density. It complements the low residential neighborhoods to the west, while distinctively establishing a threshold to the urban vitality of downtown Tempe to the east. Proposed as will bruder architects ltd.
