Flowing along the arid landscape of its hillside site the Feigin Residence is an essay of movement and form. The soft line of the plan and sectional geometry organize functional relationships with courtyards and gardens. The materiality grounds the house in the landscape. Weathered steel plate walls define the entire form and dark patina copper standing seam roof skins the exterior living pavilion. Inside polished concrete floors, white Venetian plastered and black plate steel walls complement planes of clear, frit, and translucent glass. Completed as will bruder architects ltd.
