The 2524 studio is crafted out of a recycled 1980’s Fred Astaire dance studio, creating an extraordinary architecture studio out of an otherwise ordinary building dotting the urban landscape of Phoenix, Arizona. The studio is functionally elegant, systemic, and of highly integrated sustainable architecture. The existing block has been repainted, while a scrim of vertical solid and perforated weathered metal panels reach the sky. The scrim reduces the intense radiation of the desert sun while allowing natural daylight to permeate the studio. Completed as will bruder architects ltd..
