Associate + Senior Project Architect | Linkedin | elizabeth@worksbureau.com | +1 602 324 6028

A rare desert native, Elizabeth was born and raised in Phoenix, Arizona. She received a Bachelor of Architecture from the University of Arizona in 2008 and studied furniture design at Denmark’s Danish Design School in Copenhagen, Denmark. While living in Denmark, surround by a culture that embodies design and sustainability, she quickly realized its importance to health, happiness, and culture, and she strives to maintain that ethos in her own life and work. Upon college graduation, she joined the studio in 2009 and participates in all phases of architectural design. Working at WORKSBUREAU for ten years has allowed Elizabeth to develop a great working relationship with all three Partners - in design, culture, and its marketing - and her fellow colleagues.

A large focus of her professional work is in the studio’s single-family and multi-family residences, but she has also been immersed in commercial office projects, tenant improvements, libraries, art exhibit displays, and Saudi Arabian spa and car park building designs. She also understands the critical impact of landscape architecture on projects and enjoys engaging in its design and development.

With a high energy and passion for all things design, Elizabeth’s interest lies in architectural place-making and its effects on individuals paired with the increasing importance of sustainable design in built environments for future generations.

Outside of work, you can find Elizabeth (and her husband!) remodeling a 1970s A-Frame in the White Mountains of Arizona and being herded by their two Picardy Shepards, Rae and Judd. She claims herself an intolerant foodie, allergic to everything but loves to cook, bake and eat. She finds her creative outlets in ceramics and woodworking and her mental outlet in gardening and yoga.
